Souris Valley Aquatic and Leisure Centre
City of Estevan, Saskatchewan

Interested in a fast pace and challenging work environment then join our dynamic and energetic team of lifeguards.  We are currently seeking Aquatic Professional who posses strong leadership skills, positive attitudes and eagerness to succeed.

Summary:
Provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the aquatic centre customers.

Duties include: 
-  Ensure the safety of the aquatic centre customers by enforcing polices, rules, and regulations
- Administers first aid in the event of a major or minor accidents with the entire facility
- Maintenance and cleaning of the guard area, pool area and changerooms
- Logs, records and reports pertinent information such as water tests, receipt of materials, time sheets and task performed
- Teaches Red Cross swimming lessons and completes all paperwork such as tear sheets and reports at the conclusion of a set of lessons
- Assists the public and associate staff members with business division records, bylaws, polices and procedures
- Promotes and maintain positive public relations between staff and customers

Minimum qualifications
- current Bronze Cross or NLS
- current Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Red Cross Water Safety Instructors
